The Chamber is pleased to announce dates for its 41st Annual SummerFest, July 10-13. One can find Musical acts ranging from local high school bands playing in the mornings to local favorites Jacked, Illusion, Sabbatical, Stringfolks, Piquant, the Norwood Brass Firemen, and coming home for SummerFest are Edison and the Joe Zelek Band. Both the Northern Music & Video Main Stage and Ives Park Gazebo will feature music from all genres. There will be sidewalk sales, alfresco dining, street vendors, a 5k walk/run on Thursday at the Elks Lodge, Outer Market Mania on Friday and the Trinity Church White Elephant Sale on Saturday. Also on Saturday in Ives Park, there will be a craft show, antique car show, registration for airplane rides, the famous Rotarian Rubber Ducky Race and much more. In the evening, there will be the Firemen’s Review prior to their infamous “Run to the River” at 7pm. To close the weekend out is family day in Ives Park with a sing-along, picnic and a non-denominational church service. We hope to see you in Potsdam in July!

The Potsdam Elks Lodge is proud to sponsor the 7th Annual Tour de Potsdam this year. The race is a long tradition of SummerFest and takes both runners and walkers through a beautiful section of downtown Potsdam. Walkers begin the 5k at 6:00 and Runners at 6:30. Prizes are awarded for both gender and age. Pre-registration is $10, and registration the day of the event is $15, with the first 100 participants receiving a t-shirt. The race starts at 9 Beal St. (near Potsdam Laundry).
