On Saturday February 18, the Potsdam Chamber of Commerce, with the generous support of Clarkson University and the sponsorship of Blevins Motors, will provide the chance for up to three individuals to shoot a puck on the ice at Cheel Arena during the Second Intermission to win a Jeep Wrangler. “The chamber is selling tickets to the Clarkson versus Colgate Men’s Hockey game, and three contestants will be chosen from those ticket holders,” remarked Potsdam Chamber Executive Director Marylee Ballou. “Blevins sponsored this event last year during our hockey night fundraiser. Our third shooter was pretty close and a similar contest in Massena recently had a winner, so the task is possible.” The contest adds another level of excitement for the fans beyond a great collegiate hockey game. The chamber will also be giving away some Potsdam Gift Certificates and a gift certificate donated by Foxy Roxy's to randomly chosen ticketholders as well.
