Frosty Fest Returns January 31!

Get ready to bundle up and build your best snow creation—Frosty Fest is back on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Ives Park! Hosted by the North Country Children’s Museum, SLC Arts, and the Potsdam Chamber of Commerce, this annual snowman competition brings families, friends, and community members together for a fun winter celebration.

Enjoy free hot chocolate, coffee, cookies, and s’mores while you build, plus a Story Walk by the Potsdam Public Library. New this year, we’ll also have a fire pit and warmers to help keep everyone cozy.

Event Schedule:

Registration begins at 11:00 AM

Judging begins at 12:30 PM

Awards announced at 1:00 PM

Award categories are available for kids and adults, and participation is free.
No snow date: February 7.
