The Potsdam Public Museum is proud to announce their first formal exhibition opening in five years.
Beginning at noon on Saturday, November 16, 2024, “Exploring Fall Island,” will bring together an array of creative renderings by local artists and community members whose works were inspired by and crafted in tandem with the museum’s summer programming on the ecological history of Fall Island, which was organized by artist Sara Lynch. Visitors will be treated to numerous visual delights and locally made artifacts that revolve around Fall Island’s ecology and history, with opportunities to purchase select pieces of art, pottery, and jewelry via cash or check. There will be a light reception, with poetry readings slated for 1pm that will feature the talents of Alesa Bernat, John Berbrich, and other members of St. Lawrence Area Poets (SLAP). This event is free, and all are welcome!
