The Tour de Potsdam Fun Walk/Run will kick off the 2025 Potsdam Summer Fest on Thursday, July 10. Now in its 22nd year, the event continues to be a much-loved tradition, promoting health, fun, and community spirit. This year, Jazzercise Potsdam will take the lead as host for the event, bringing their signature energy and upbeat vibe to the celebration.
“No matter your pace, you belong in this race!” said Rae Mackey, Jazzercise Potsdam Instructor. “Whether you walk, run, or dance your way through the course, it’s all about fun, community, and showing off that Summer Fest spirit.”
Registration race day will begin at 5:00 p.m. in the Beal Street parking lot area behind the Potsdam Laundry. Walkers will start at 5:45 p.m. followed by runners at 6:00 p.m. The route is approximately 3 miles. Water and refreshments will be provided at the event.
Registration is $20 per participant, and children 10 and under are free when accompanied by a registered adult. Paid participants will receive a complimentary 2025 Summer Fest t-shirt. Pre-registration is encouraged to ensure your shirt is available at check-in. Those who register on-site will receive a voucher to pick up their t-shirt at the Potsdam Chamber of Commerce, located at 6 Market Street. Awards will be presented to top finishers in various running divisions and the top male and female walkers.
To pre-register, download the registration form from the Potsdam Chamber of Commerce website or request a copy by emailing rsnell521@gmail.com. Completed forms should be submitted via email to rsnell521@gmail.com by July 8, 2025. Payment is due on the day of the event.
