Hello everyone,
I would like to take a minute on my last day of being the Executive Director of this wonderful organization to thank you all. I thank you for your constant investment in the greater Potsdam community and all of the things that every one of you brings to the table that make Potsdam such a wonderful place to live, work, and visit. It has been an absolute joy partnering with you all in various ways to continue to showcase Potsdam for the amazing community it is.
I leave this position with a sense of pride, knowing the work we have done together will be carried on by our new Executive Director, Melanie Flack. She brings over 10 years of experience in event planning, membership recruitment and retention, fundraising, and nonprofit knowledge that the Potsdam community will be lucky to have. I hope everyone is able to make it to the March Madness event listed below to have an opportunity to meet and welcome her. I certainly look forward to the ways in which the Chamber community can thrive under her leadership.
There are a few helpful things to note for your business. The office will be open by appointment only until April 8, 2024, for transition and to allow for staff training. Beginning April 8th, the office will go back to being open Monday through Friday 10 AM to 2 PM. If you have a question, please feel free to email director@potsdamchamber.com, or call the office and leave a voicemail. All correspondence will be answered in a timely fashion.
I would sincerely like to thank all for your partnership during my time as Executive Director and I’m not saying goodbye but instead see you all later! I look forward to continuing to support the community that means so much to me, so at the next event look for me and let’s share a drink!
