We would like to highlight the following attractions for your consideration:
**Munter Trail:** A picturesque two-mile walking path that meanders along the Raquette River. To begin your exploration, please proceed to the path located to the left of Stewart’s Shop on Maple Street, where you can enjoy scenic overlooks of the river.
**Sandstoner Park:** This expansive 15.8-acre park serves as the Village’s central hub for active recreation. It features an indoor ice skating arena, available from October through March, which hosts local figure skating clubs, youth and adult ice hockey teams, and public skating sessions. Furthermore, Sandstoner Park boasts multi-use sports fields suitable for youth and adult baseball, softball, and soccer, in addition to a playground and a picnic pavilion. The park also includes a beach that is open daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Kayak rentals are available for $5.00 per 2-hour period, and paddleboard rentals are offered at $5.00 per hour (cash payments only). Guests interested in rentals are kindly asked to register with our lifeguards upon arrival at the beach.
**Playgrounds:** Playgrounds can be found at Ives Park, Lawrence Ave Elementary School, and Sandstoner Park on Pine Street, offering recreational spaces for children and families.
**STLCTrails.com:** Discover a wealth of outdoor opportunities, trails, and natural attractions throughout St. Lawrence County. This resource provides access to hundreds of miles of trails and waterways, ensuring year-round opportunities for outdoor activities.
**Ives Park:** Situated at the end of Market Street, Ives Park features a walkway, a gazebo, a canoe launch, and open green spaces, providing a serene environment for relaxation and recreation.
**Fall Island Park:** Located on Maple Street, on the island between the dams, Fall Island Park offers benches and scenic river views, making it an ideal spot for peaceful contemplation.
**Garner Park:** Located on Raymond St., Garner Park provides an upstream view of the river and includes a picnic area with tables and bench swings. The park also features outdoor musical instruments and is wheelchair accessible, ensuring an inclusive and enjoyable experience for all visitors.
